Waikato Group (Dairy SolutioNZ) to Establish Large-Scale Dairy/Beef Farms in Middle East, Latin-American, and South East Asia.
Waikato Innovation Park-based organisation, Dairy SolutioNZ, today announced the signing of a 50:50 joint venture (JV) agreement with Emirates Investment Group (EIG). The new company is called Em-Zealand SolutioNZ Ltd, registered in the United Arab Emirates.
The purpose of this JV is to develop large-scale farming businesses in the Middle East, Pakistan and other regions, with the aim of producing and selling high quality dairy and beef products in those regions.
The New Zealand diary sector has been one of the few dairy industries over the world who has profitably survived, only on the returns obtained from the international market. This has been keeping its internal costs to a minimum.
In addition to its partnership with EIG, Dairy SolutioNZ and Beef SolutioNZ are seeking partnerships with other Governments, land owners, dairy processors, fund managers and/or commercial partners around the world and in Latin American countries among others.
