A key feature of our service is to offer a 'best of breed' solution - we don't have preferred supplier contracts which could limit access to new and improved technologies. Instead we scope and choose the very best products and services to fit the agricultural need. Having said that, there are a core team of NZ suppliers who offer superior service and skills and can operate in a global context - we have established excellent working relationships with this core of companies and can swing a project into action very quickly as a result.

Peter Davey has a diverse range of senior management experience in manufacturing and processing - initially in Zimbabwe and more recently in New Zealand. An initial qualification in Forest Management in 1975 led to a range of Senior Management roles in Forestry, the Tea Industry, Wood Processing, Food Manufacture and Analytical Laboratory management.
 
Peter’s current role is to facilitate and develop successful business opportunities on a global scale for New Zealand's agriculture industry.  By developing effective relationships with NZ's major and globally competitive agricultural suppliers, Peter has successfully facilitated the formation of the Dairy SolutioNZ (NZ) Ltd consortium and now acts as the lead sales contact.
 
 

Derek Fairweather has been the Chief Executive Officer of  Waikato Innovation Park since 2003 and has accountability for all aspects of the Waikato Innovation Park. Derek has led a number of key initiatives for WIP including Integrated Farm management, facilitating the Ag Bio NZ Cluster and as the pursuit leader for Dairy SolutioNZ and Beef SolutioNZ. Prior to the Innovation Park, Derek was an Asset management specialist for Ernst & Young.  Key challenges included supply chain and life/parts traceability applied in the Aviation and Rail industries.

Stuart Gordon was CEO of one of New Zealand’s largest Agriculture companies Livestock Improvement.  He led Livestock Improvement for 8 years during a period of strategic change, increased profitability and innovation. Stuart is a qualified Chartered accountant with advanced experience in marketing, strategy and farm advisory. Stuart has previously worked for the largest dairy Company in New Zealand as Financial Controller. Stuart is the owner and operator of a 430 cow dairy farming operation in New Zealand. 
 
Stuart's role as Business Development Manager is to work with clients globally to introduce them to New Zealand's low cost, high quality dairy and beef solutions.
 
 

Julián Ramírez – Luna is responsible for commercial operations in Latin America. Julian is a Civil Engineer, an MBA,  and has sales and engineering experience in construction, agricultural, technology and commercial companies around South America. He is fluent in both English and Spanish which enables him to work cross culturally in New Zealand and South America.
