TechNZ for R&D Investment
TechNZ is the Foundation for Research, Science and Technology’s (FRST’s) business investment programme. They are focused on growing the number of world-class NZ companies through innovative technology.
As a TechNZ Regional Partner, we can assess and deliver investment in two areas – technology and skills:
- Technology investments provide co-funding to develop new products, processes and services
- Skills investments provide funding and expert advice to improve technical knowledge and the skills to undertake R&D.
We can also put you in touch with international experts to help solve challenging technical problems. Global Expert is a fast confidential fee-based service run by FRST which locates pre-screens and qualifies experts.

Greenfields Network for Business Investment
Waikato Innovation Park act as the conduit to the Greenfields Network, a Waikato based collective of angel investors.
Greenfields is a member driven organisation of active investors seeking quality deal propositions. Our members are experienced and successful entrepreneurs with an interest in supporting young start-up enterprises and those with expansion plans. They offer financial investment and, in some cases, their own expertise to the right opportunity. Greenfields Network is not an investment fund – each member makes their own investment decision based on the deals presented to the Network.
